The OAKWORKS Medical Multi-Specialty Table is part of the Ergonomic Advantage family, developed primarily for ultrasound examinations and procedures. Its design supports accurate patient positioning, shorter examination times and ergonomic working conditions for sonographers.
Fully electric movement functions allow the patient’s position to be set quickly and precisely, while the specially designed slim table base gives unobstructed access for the ultrasound system, creating better working conditions for the examiner.

Electric positioning
The Multi-Specialty Table has five electrically controlled movement functions:
- Height adjustment: 19–33 inches (48–84 cm) on the low version, or 22–36 inches (56–91 cm) on the high version.
- Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg: electric tilt within a ±18° range.
- Electrically adjustable backrest: 0–75°.
- Electrically adjustable leg section: 0–90°.
- Electrically adjustable access panels: the left and right panels give easier access to the examination area.
Designed specifically for ultrasound examinations
One of the most important aspects of the design is the unobstructed access it gives to ultrasound equipment. The slim central base allows the examiner to use the system and the transducer from a more ergonomic position.
The manufacturer developed the table specifically to improve working conditions for sonographers, and its design exceeds industry ergonomic requirements for ultrasound examinations.
Patient comfort
The three-section, 76 × 191 cm surface has 8 cm thick Comfort Foam™ padding. The backrest measures 86 cm, the seat section 66 cm and the leg section 28 × 56 cm.
A QuickLock™ headrest and AeroCel cushion can also be ordered, supporting comfortable, stable patient placement in both supine and prone positions.
