Cryosurgery – an established treatment method
In cryosurgery the pathological tissue to be treated is cooled in a controlled manner to an extremely low temperature. Freezing damages the targeted tissue, after which the body’s natural processes gradually clear and regenerate the treated area.
According to the manufacturer, dermatological cryosurgical procedures can be performed without anaesthesia in the vast majority of cases.
